How to measure your horse

Use a soft measuring tape dressmaker:

Measure A: from just in front of the withers to the tail with a straight line

Measure B: from the centre of the chest to the end of the hind leg

Measure C: from the top of the withers to the desidered length. With polywarmers it is better not to have too much dept.

Measure D: just in front of the withers following the neck line to the centre of the chest.

Please note: if it is a horse particularly big, take also the width of the shoulders (in front of the horse’s head from tip to tip of the shoulders).

Standard measures
Pony     A 125     B 175    C 80    D 60
